Skipper Olofs Lane
About . . .
Skipper Olofs Lane
Merchant Street is the oldest street in Stockholm, recorded in 1323.
It connected the Great Square and the harbor and was a natural place for merchants to locate themselves.

This elegant archway is the entrance to Skippar Olofs Lane. He is a man that saved the Great Church from demolition.

One can turn to the left at the end. It takes you to the Finish church and the castle.
